Ketso is an interactive, hands-on toolkit for bringing meetings and workshops to life. It is compact and portable, simple to use and accessible to everyone.
Ketso allows people to share their ideas, learn from each other and make decisions. It can help to manage business meetings, stakeholder workshops, brainstorming sessions - and any other situation where people come together to talk and think creatively. Put simply: it helps people to get things done.
Ketso is based on over ten year’s practical research and development. It can be used, for example, as a tool for developing new ideas in a meeting, or for encouraging active learning in training and education.
Ketso is durable and re-usable. It’s also designed to minimise impact on the environment by using materials that are obtained, where possible, from sustainable and/or fair-trade sources. Our aim is to provide a practical and hard-wearing product, but also a product with character – produced by hand and with a history of careful thought and imagination behind it.
How does Ketso work?
Ketso is simple to use, enjoyable, and accessible to everyone. You write your ideas and comments on re-usable shapes, including colour-coded leaves, which are placed on a central mat, or ‘workspace’. You can see ideas taking form, encouraging cooperation and dialogue. Icons are used to highlight key points. Ideas can be organised into an action plan. The workspace can be pinned up for display and discussion. At the end, it folds quickly and easily into its carrying bag. The shapes rinse clean in water, ready for use again. Ketso provides a re-usable ‘workshop in a bag’. Its colourful tools and simple guide make running a good workshop easy. It gives confi dence to people new to running a workshop, and extends the capabilities of experienced facilitators.
